BEVERLY HILLS, CALIF.- Hot on the heels of the Met Gala and this year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” Julien’s Auctions proudly announces "Men’s Bold Luxury: The Tailor Made Edit," a one-of-a-kind sale honoring the artistry, elegance, and attitude of iconic menswear. This exciting auction, taking place on Tuesday, June 17th, features over 100 curated items that redefine what it means to dress with distinction—whether you're a classicist, a collector, or a bold fashion visionary.

A masterclass in craftsmanship, the Men’s Bold Luxury: Tailor Made Edit centers around suits and tailoring, presenting standout pieces that range from Alexander McQueen’s sculptural silhouettes to Tom Ford’s modern refinement. Among the crown jewels are Sean Connery’s classic dinner jacket, Al Pacino’s iconic Homburg hat, and a full kilt ensemble worn by the Duke of Windsor—each a sartorial relic of cultural and cinematic history.

Timed perfectly to follow fashion’s biggest night, the collection echoes the Met Gala’s homage to tailoring’s legacy while pushing the boundaries of gender, proportion, and personal expression. Standout lots from Sir Elton John’s wardrobe—including a highly collectable John Galliano statement coat from his first commercial collection in 1985. Gianni Versace’s “Miami” western shirt and custom Richard James suits—channel the spirit of fearless dressing. Also on offer: Steve Jobs’ rarely seen suit, offering collectors a rare glimpse into the understated elegance of a tech titan.

“With The Tailor Made Edit, we’re extending the Julien’s Bold Luxury lens to spotlight the timeless power of menswear—where craftsmanship meets charisma, and history meets individuality. Coming on the heels of a cultural moment that’s redefined modern tailoring, this sale couldn’t be more timely. It celebrates the icons who’ve defined personal style on their own terms, and invites collectors of all identities to engage with fashion not as a trend, but as legacy. Bold Luxury isn’t just about what you wear—it’s about owning pieces that tell a story.”, said Gabriela Schwartz, Managing Director and Head of Luxury and Corporate Brand Partnerships at Julien’s Auctions.

Beyond tailoring, the sale also features a host of shirts, sweaters, outerwear, and accessories that transcend fashion eras. Highlights include a Dior ostrich coat, a Jean Paul Gaultier’s black lace coat, and exquisitely made luggage and leather goods from Hermès, Bottega Veneta, Tiffany and Co., and Gucci. From heritage silk ties to bold Prada shoes, each piece celebrates the fusion of precision and personality.

Online registration and bidding begin on Wednesday, May 14th and the live auction will take place on Tuesday, June 17th at 10am PDT.
