EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND.- An extravagant and bohemian return to a salon-style show for the RSA just opened. Nestled in the midst of Edinburgh's Christmas celebrations and the German Market, Roter Salon will showcase latest works by current and recently elected Academicians alongside the extremely talented emerging artists who have participated in RSA residencies, scholarships and awards during 2006. The RSA offers a number of artist opportunities throughout the year and is delighted to be able to bring some of these recipients together in this festival show.
RSA Members in the show include Adrian Wiszniewski, Gordon Munro, Marion Smith, Paul Furneaux, George Donald, Marian Leven, Will Maclean, Jack Knox. Invited artists include, Julia Douglas, Miranda Blennerhasset, Barry McGlashan, Lara Scouller, Katy MacLeod, Matthew Draper Christopher Park. The exhibition is on view through December 17.
