Originating from the remote Warlpiri community of Yuendumu, located 293km northwest of Alice Springs in Central Australia, these artists have transformed the landscape of contemporary Aboriginal art.

Bursting with colour, energy, and cultural depth, their work carries the spirit and storytelling of generations.

The Yuendumu art movement surged in the 1990s with a dynamic emergence of female painters. Embracing vivid acrylics and bold visual languages, these women reinterpreted ancient Dreamings through a contemporary lens.
