GLEN COVE, NY.- Roland Auctions NY will present its next Multi-Estates auction on August 23rd, 2025, with a stunning selection of Silver, Decorative Arts and Fine Art joining the hundreds of other impressive items in all categories. In the Art arena, getting pre-auction attention, is the George Grosz, Im Cafe, Watercolor Pen & Ink, George Grosz (German-American, 1893-1959) Im Cafe, circa 1922, depicting a lady in blue with mink collar with gentleman in green tie, sighted lower right, watercolor, pen and ink. [Sight: 11.25" H x 15.25" W, Frame: 21" H x 24.75" W]. Est: $20,000 - $30,000, along with a large Antique Grisaille Oil Painting, Grisaille oil painting depicting an arrow and quiver and book and trumpet group, above two putti riding a cloud with harp and doves, with valance designs, and a floral and vine border, in a later painted frame. [Art: 45" H x 35" W; Frame: 53" H x 43" W]. Restored and re-lined. From the Collection of Susan and Cliff Freeman. Estimate $1,000-$2,000.

Silver is also positioned well in the auction, with a rare Tiffany & Co. Early Silver Tea & Coffee Service, 6, Tiffany & Co. important early sterling silver six piece tea and coffee service, comprising hot water kettle on stand, coffee pot, teapot, chocolate pot, creamer and covered sugar, each top and upper section with engraved scrolling foliage and monogram, above a mid-section band of interlaced circles and flowers, the handles with shell and scoll motifs, marks to reverse monogrammed, and "Tiffany & Co. quality 925-1000 M (for Tiffany current president Edward C. Moore) 550 Broadway 1516 4572 (coffee pot, teapot, creamer, sugar) or 1516 4165 or 1516 4615 (hot water kettle on stand) or 1826 4320 9 (hot chocolate pot). [Hot water kettle, stand and burner: 65.5 ozt., Remainder: 104 ozt., Hot water kettle on stand with handle erect: 14.5" H x 9" W x 7" D. Creamer: 4.75" H x 5.5" W x 4" D]. Estimate $3,000-$5,000 and a Gorham Sterling Silver "Buttercup" Flatware,128, Gorham sterling silver "Buttercup" pattern flatware service, comprising 7 serving spoons, 12 tablespoons, 6 cream soup spoons, 5 bouillon spoons, 9 teaspoons, 12 dinner knives, 12 dinner forks, 11 luncheon forks, 12 salad forks, 12 flat butter spreaders, 7 oyster forks, 6 hors 'd oeuvre forks, 6 pastry forks, and 11 assorted serving items, marks to reverse. Two sterling silver and nautilus shell ornaments, probably late 19th century. Estimate $400-$600.

Also being offered at Roland are two rare sterling silver and nautilus shell ornaments, probably late 19th century, probably initially used as a gravy boat, with silver buttons and lined lip resting on stepped foot, marks to base. [Largest with handle: 8.25" H x 11.25" L x 4.25" W]. Overall condition is good, one handle deficient, a minor dents, both tarnished, one with crack and minor natural areas of discolor and losses. From the esteemed collection of Neil Zukerman former owner CFM Gallery. Estimate $400-$600 and an 1881 "Cleopatra's Needle" Medal & Coin, 1881 "Cleopatra's Needle" Egyptian Obelisk Erected in New York MS64 uncertified, white metal. [42mm. Diameter]. the printed cardboard holder of issue is included; together with Republique de Chinee 500 franc Cleopatra coin, holder. Estimate $800-$1,200.


Art Deco Bronze and Marble Figure. Estimate $800-$1,200.

An impressive selection of Decorative Arts will also be prominent, with an Art Deco Bronze and Marble Figure, Art Deco polychrome decorated bronze figure a nude female supplicant, second half of the 20th century, seated on a pedestal bearing a pierced and reticulated plate depicting Bacchus and a Bacchante, all resting on a graduating marble base. [Base: 22.5" H x 14" W x 12" D, Figure: 21" H x 12/5" W x 16" D, Diameter of plate: 18"]. Estimate $800-$1,200, a Guido Gambone studio pottery pitcher / ewer, Italy 1909-1969, with textured polychrome finish - shades of white, camel, brown, mark to base "Gambone Italy" and maker's mark. [11.25" H x 7.5" W x 5.5" D]. From the Collection of Susan and Cliff Freeman. Estimate $500-$700, and an After Louis Icart (French 1888-1950) "Illusions" bronze sculpture, signed Louis Icart to upper base, and produced by Rosenbaum Fine Art Corp, 1986 and editioned 56/350. Lalique France 5222.[ 8 1/2" H x 5.25" Diameter]. From the Collection of Susan and Cliff Freeman. Estimate $300-$500 and a Chaim Gross (Hungarian/American, 1904-1991) untitled bronze plaque of a mother and child, signed Chaim Gross to lower right, with an affixed support to reverse. [4" H x 5.25" W x 3" D]. Estimate $400-$600.

Unusual furniture pieces are a Louis XV bronze dore mounted commode by Beurdeley A Paris, 19th century, with a terrazzo marble top, over a gilt bronze mounted and satinwood body with two drawers on cabriole legs, marked Beurdeley A Paris to escutcheon; key present. [35" H x 58" W x 23.5" D]. Condition is good with minor scattered losses and lifting to veneer. From the estate of Ronald Blatt, owner of Blatt Billiards New York City. Estimate $800-$1,200, a A.M.E. Fournier Inspired Pair Rope Twist Marquises, A.M.E. Fournier-inspired pair of Hollywood Regency rope twist cream/beige speckled framed and upholstered marquises with cushions, Late 20th /early 21st Century. [36" H x 40" W x 31" D, 18" H to seat].
