SEOUL.- Next week, in the heart of Gangnam, ACEL Art Company opens its doors as Seouls newest cultural destination, bringing a bold new model to South Korea. More than a gallery, ACEL is a next-generation platform designed to connect international galleries, collectors, and cultural partners with Koreas dynamic art market through strategic, flexible, and high-impact collaborations.
Launching in perfect sync with Frieze Seoul 2025, ACEL offers a five-story standalone space that houses expansive galleries, a members cultural lounge, and private viewing rooms, creating an environment where art, ideas, and global networks meet. Positioned at the crossroads of Asias rapidly evolving art infrastructure, ACEL serves as a vital bridge between the local and the international, fostering new forms of cultural exchange.
For its inaugural season, ACEL proudly joins forces with Serge Tiroche Contemporary to present two exceptional exhibitions a partnership that underscores both organisations commitment to championing diverse voices and creating dialogue across continents.
Roy Adin: Generated Nature, Human Soul
24 year old AI sensation, Roy Adin choses Seoul for his first international solo exhibition.
Opening September 3rd for ACELs inauguration during Seoul Art Weekend, Frieze Seoul and KIAF art fairs, the new media artist presents a dozen complex, multi-layered moving image artworks.
Merging Nature with the human form, Roy Adin asks: Can AI bring calm in a time of intense technological change?
Viewers will experience a renewed sense of connection to nature and be reminded of the importance of balance for self healing. The exhibition serves as an antidote to the pace of technological innovation and transformation.
Africa Rising: Highlights from the Africa First Collection
For much of modern art history, African contemporary art remained on the margins. Today, however, Africa is an emergent center. From this shifting ground arises a body of work that carries the memories of colonial histories, the narratives of community, the urgencies of gender and healing, and visions of identity and transcendenceall articulated in a powerful language of the present.
This exhibition marks the first presentation in Korea of contemporary art from Africa, drawn from the Africa First Collection built over the past decade by Serge Tiroche, featuring twenty-one works by sixteen artists, the exhibition encompasses painting, textile, mixed media, leather, and works on paper.
