LONDON, ENGLAND.- The BBC and the Guardian have made available for download an art work titled Planed by artists Gilbert and George until 11.30pm BST on Thursday May 10. The work is made up of nine separate panels. The work can be downloaded in the separate panels unlimited times. Once the panels are downloaded, they can then be printed off as an A4 sheet and assembled into the final image.
BBC One arts show Imagine featured the artistic duo and after the end of the show, the works were made available at The BBC and the Guardian. The art work is inspired by the trees and streets of London.
Alan Yentob, presenter of the Imagine show, said, "This is the sort of thing that has never been done before. But when I saw how Gilbert and George made their pictures it was clear this would be a perfect match."
