SKIPTON, UK.-Art in the Pen’s annual return promises more artists exhibiting provoking, modern and contemporary arts at the UK’s only Arts event for professional Artists at a livestock venue funded by the Arts Council England, Yorkshire. After a highly successful launch last year where well over 3000 people experienced the first ever visual arts event at Craven’s Cattle Mart it can be guaranteed that this year’s event will be bigger and better. Art in the Pen will host Regional, National and even International Artists under a single undercover venue, packed with astonishing paintings, photography and sculptures, breathtaking textiles, ceramics and jewellery in the unusual environment of the pen area, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in this two day event.

Art in the Pen will guide you through the labyrinth of pens as they exchange animals for Art to buy: this is an event you cannot miss. Whether you are an experienced collector or buying art for the first time, be one of the first to discover the many new and emerging talents amongst our established artists. Here you will not only find the opportunity to purchase works from event, but you will be given the opportunity to discuss the works with other collectors as well as the artists themselves.

With the extensive network of people present in Art in the Pen it is a place to develop wonderful relationships and connections with not just the most creative people we know but also the collectors that appreciate them.

Craven’s Cattle Mart’s Agriculture Arts initiative is breaking new ground by strengthening the infrastructure of Arts and Agriculture, and developing an audience for contemporary art in the UK. Supported by funding from Arts Council England, Yorkshire and Craven District Council this celebration of art showcases fine quality and beauty and is sure to attract admirers and buyers alike to browse in this outdoor but undercover art exhibition.
