LOS ANGELES, CA.-Chango Coffee House is happy to announce an exhibition of work by the design team Bughouse entitled Paraphenalia. The exhibition will be on display in the gallery for the entire month of September and a reception will take place on Saturday, September 8th from 7pm to 10pm.

The exhibition will offer an array of work by the creative powerhouse, Jeff and Rebecca Klarin, aka Bughouse. Their creations come across as one-panel comics and often use dark humor to tackle the mental, the social and the intrinsic. Constantly pushing the limits, Bughouse has been known to not only create screen prints on paper but also on pretty much surface that they see before them. This includes wood, table-tops, curtains, walls, mirrors and the likes. They also tend to step out of what is expected to create multimedia pieces, ornaments and other works on canvas. Adding to a wide range of artistic skills, they also take photographs of seemingly simplistic subjects that result in an energy that allows one to feel as though they've witnessed the scene with their naked eye.

Chango Coffee House & Gallery is located at 1559 Echo Park Avenue in Echo Park. Their hours are 7pm to 10pm all days of the week. They serve a variety of hot & cold coffee drinks along with pastries and sandwiches. The venue also offers monthly art exhibitions and supports artists of all levels and mediums.
