Christie's Appoints Wen Li as Singapore Representative |

HONG KONG.- Christies International, the worlds leading art business, announced today the appointment of Tang Wen Li as Christies Representative for Singapore. In this role, Ms. Tang will be responsible for business and client development and the further strengthening of Christies presence and brand in Singapore. Ms. Tang will report to Su-Mei Thompson, Senior Vice President, Director of Strategic Business Development, Christies Asia. Ms. Tang will join Christies in October, replacing Cecilia Ong who will retire later this year.
I am delighted to welcome Wen Li to Christies, said Ms Thompson. As our business in Asia expands exponentially, having the best on the ground representatives in the different Asian markets has become one of our main priorities. Christies success is entirely structured around our global network of specialists, auctioneers and representatives and we are delighted Wen Li will be driving our business in Singapore, one of the major markets for Christies in Asia.
Ms. Tang joins Christies from Edipresse Singapore Pte Ltd/Singapore Tatler where she has been deputy bureau chief and social editor for the past three years and a correspondent since 2000. Before entering the publishing world, she was an assistant-manager at United Overseas Bank Ltd.
Ms. Tang holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Adelaide in Australia.
