Beyond Wisdom, 9x12" Oil on Linen
This exclusive exhibit of 20 oil paintings, which depict the traditional people living in China's isolated mountain villages, are by noted cultural artist, Jo Sherwood. The exhibition is presented in celebration of the forthcoming 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
Driven to capture disappearing cultures that will eventually succomb to modern globalization, Sherwood's paintings reflect the tranquil beauty of the people, their customs and their daily lives.
