Contemporary Japanese Handicrafts in the Japan Foundation Selection at Narodni Galerie



PRAGUE.- The touring exhibition of the Japan Foundation presents 92 handicraft artefacts made of natural materials - such as ceramic ware, bamboo baskets, paper fans and lamps, wooden lacquer boxes or silk hand-died kimonos. The display of living handicraft art for daily use is joined by a free illustrated catalogue prepared by the Director of the Ibaraki Ceramic Art Museum, Kazuko Todate.
