BOISE.- Wesley Jessup, executive director of Boise Art Museum (BAM), has resigned his position effective immediately to pursue other opportunities, according to Amy McDevitt, president of the Boise Art Museum’s Board of Trustees.
“It was a mutual decision by Wesley and the BAM Board to part ways,” said McDevitt. “The board and staff of the Museum wish Wesley all the best.”
According to McDevitt, the board will move quickly to put in place interim leadership for the Museum and begin the process of hiring a new director.
“The board has the utmost confidence in the Museum staff, many of whom have been affiliated with BAM for a decade or more, to carry on business as usual during this transition,” McDevitt said.
