BERLIN.- The Art Forum Berlin – the International Fair for Contemporary Art – is expanding its international visitor program this year. More collectors than in past years will have the opportunity to attend special events to get to know the galleries and artists represented at Art Forum Berlin. PROFESSIONAL MONDAY, appearing for the first time in the program, offers curators, art scholars, and critics the chance to talk with gallerists, collectors, and artists about exhibitions, purchases, and financing.

Private and public institutions of contemporary art, as well as satellite fairs, have all responded favorably and adjusted to the shift in the dates of the 13th Art Forum Berlin to October 31 until November 3, 2008. The press conference of Art Forum Berlin will take place, as always, on the day of the opening: October 30, at 11 a.m. The press conferences of the exhibitions “The Universe Paul Klee” and “Jeff Koons” at Berlin’s New National Gallery as well as “Anish Kapoor” at Deutsche Guggenheim, or “10 Years 10 Rooms” at Martin-Gropius-Bau have been moved up to October 29 respectively October 28.
