COLUMBIA, SC.- Columbia Museum of Art’s hands-on family program, Passport to Art Saturday offers extended hours April 25 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. This April program introduces Sally the Salamander, the new interactive walking tour of downtown Columbia.

“We are so pleased that the Columbia Museum of Art has been chosen as a Sally site and one of only 10 stops on the walking tour. What a great way for families to explore downtown Columbia,” director of education Ali Borchardt said.

Offered in connection with the special exhibitions, Passport to Art Saturday is a free open studio program for families featuring hands-on projects based on themes in the current exhibition. Sally Salamander is a new interactive walking tour of downtown Columbia featuring numbered, bronze statues of South Carolina's state amphibian, the spotted salamander.
