Drago Publishing Presents Nick Walker's Book Debut Titled "A Sequence of Events"

LONDON.- Many events happen within the world of urban art, but every year a tremor flows through the market when Nick Walker makes work available. His work hangs in private museums, Hollywood A-lister’s walls and art collections the world over.

Drago publishing is proud to present Nick Walker’s book debut titled “A Sequence of Events”. This eagerly awaited book is a reflection of the last 10 years of Nick’s artwork and consists of 96 pages displaying the collection of images that distinguish him as one of the most highly collectable and sought after artists.

Each image featured has been recreated exclusively for this book. It is a documentation of the work he has created throughout his career to date. He uses a ‘flip book’ style periodically throughout to demonstrate movement and spread his message within the pages to include the endeavours of the Vandal character.

The Black Rat Press (London) is proudly hosting Nick’s solo show in conjunction with the book release on the 28 May 2009 where he will be doing a book signing. This event will also present a unique opportunity to view and purchase the original artwork created to make up the contents of the book.

Nick’s solo show in May will generate interest on a global scale and the popularity of his artistic talent was reflected at his last solo show which saw enthusiasts queue for over 36 hours and sales of $1.5m. At a recent print release at the London Art Fair organisers had to recruit additional staff to handle the influx of prospective buyers.

Nick’s work has attracted headlines including “Move over Banksy” - front page independent arts magazine 2008. and also featured in The Observers round up of the year’s biggest events 2008.
