“On March 19th, 1969, I saw again John Lennon in Paris, at the end of the morning. He had arrived at night at the Plaza Athénée with his new companion, Yoko Ono. They left with me in taxi to visit the Flea markets. Once on Rue des rosiers in Saint-Ouen John asked me to make them discover this place which he thought was 'magical '. Such was the word which he used (...) I learnt only the following day the fine word of the history: : John and Yoko were just back from Gibraltar on board of a Mystery 20 chartered by their new manager, Peter Brown. They had gotten married, early in the morning, incognito 'without making a song and dance ' as announced it Edgar Schneider in his rubric of Paris-Presse put for sale at two o'clock. I had sold him the 'exclusive ' photograph of both young turtle doves at about seven o'clock. An illustrated scoop! ”
