| American Artist Cy Twombly Receives Award |

VALENCIA, SPAIN.- American artist Cy Twombly received yesterday the Second International Julio González Award given by the Valencian government as a recognition for his contribution to modern art. Joaquín Ripoll, second vice-president of the Valencia government gave the award to the artist. Cy Twombly stated that he is very proud for the award that was given to him.
