The Katonah Art Center Encourages "Grownups" to Paint, Sculpt, or Play with Clay
Katonah Art Center teachers will be available for instruction, demonstration, advice, help, and even to give tours and answer questions about the classes they offer.

KATONAH, N.Y.- When do “grownups” get to play with art materials? Katonah Art Center’s directors Loren Anderson and David Hughes have the answer: The Katonah Art Center’s Art Day.

On Sunday, April 3 from 12 – 3:00PM, Ms. Anderson and Mr. Hughes will encourage everyone—not just children—to try something new. Participants can draw, paint, sculpt, animate, create cartoons, or play music…all for FREE. For those who want to try drawing from life, there will be a model dressed in costume in one of the studios.

Although the event is free, donations for the day will be accepted. All proceeds will go to the Katonah Art Center 131 Scholarship Fund, which raises money for disadvantaged children.

“This is a great way to give something back to our community,” says Ms. Anderson. Adults and children can have fun creating; and we help underprivileged kids at the same time.”

Katonah Art Center teachers will be available for instruction, demonstration, advice, help, and even to give tours and answer questions about the classes they offer.

Proceeds will go to KAC Scholarship Fund
