Bonhams in New York Appoints Amy Corcoran as New England Representative

NEW YORK, NY.- Bonhams, the international fine art auction house, has appointed Amy Corcoran as the company’s representative for the American Northeast, based in Wellesley, MA. Ms. Corcoran is a business development professional with twenty-plus years of experience in the marketing, sale and management of art and estate collections.

Having worked at both Christie’s and Sotheby’s in New York for more than sixteen years, Ms. Corcoran is well-respected in the auction house community. Until 2003, she was the Senior Vice President of Business Development of Sotheby’s Inc. and prior to that the Vice President of Estates and Appraisals at Christie’s Inc. For the past six years she has worked as an independent art consultant based in Massachusetts. She has lectured extensively at estate and financial planning conferences, continuing legal education seminars and collectors’ groups.

Amy is a married mother of two, with strong connections to the Cape Cod arts community and a house in Brewster, MA. She is an active member of the Board of Trustees of the Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis, MA and the Board of Corporators of Heritage Museums and Gardens in Sandwich, MA, and an Overseer for the Hyannis Harbor Arts Center in Hyannis, MA.
