The jeweller Robert Procop put on the Antique Diamond “Elise” Choker (estimate: HK$ 4,000,000 - 6,000,000 / US$ 520,000 – 770,000) for Angelina Jolie.

HONG KONG.- Tiancheng International will present two pieces of Jewellery of the Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie at the Jewellery and Jadeite Spring Auction 2013 at Hong Kong on 15 June. The first piece is an exquisite vintage choker which was sourced by celebrated jeweller Robert Procop for the character “Elise Clifton-Ward” portrayed by Angelina Jolie in the film The Tourist in 2010. The second piece is a cushion-shaped emerald ring came from The Style of Jolie Collection, designed by Angelina Jolie along with Robert Procop, which she wore at the premiere of Kung Fu Panda 2 at the Cannes Film Festival in France in 2011. All proceeds from the auctions (including buyer’s and seller’s premium) of these two lots will be donated to Education Partnership for Children in Conflict (EPCC), a nonprofit group founded by Angelina Jolie which committed to placing the out-of-school children in school and improving the learning environment, safety, materials and teacher quality for them to help the war-affected children worldwide.

Ellen Sin, Director of Tiancheng International’s Jewellery Department said, “We are honoured to have been entrusted to present these two stunning pieces of jewellery of Ms Jolie with an extraordinary meaning of helping the children in need. The sale of these important jewelleries not only will be a milestone in Tiancheng International's history but also open a new page for the jewellery auctions in Asia.”

These two pieces of jewellery of Angelina Jolie, together with all the Spring Auction jewelleries and jadeites will be on view at Tiancheng International’s Hong Kong headquarters on 26 to 28 May and 12 to 14 June.

The Exquisite Antique Diamonf "Elise" Choker (Estimate: HK$ 4,000,000 – 6,000,000 / US$ 520,000 – 770,000) was worn by Angelina Jolie in the film The Tourist in 2010. Of openwork foliage scroll design, set with intertwining wreaths of diamond-set laurel leaves and accented by six oscillating old-cut diamonds, which was a superlative example of the Garland Style greatly prized during the early twentieth century, the necklace is gorgeous, elegant whilst of great magnificence. To find a memorable piece for Angelina Jolie’s character Elise in The Tourist, the famous Jeweller Robert Procop searched far and wide across the globe and ultimately got this artwork.

Another Jolie’s jewellery, a 9.17-ct. cushion-shaped Emerald Ring (Estimate: HK$ 1,000,000 – 1,500,000 / US$ 130,000 – 200,000) signed Jolie RP is of simply bezel-set, designed by Angelina Jolie in collaboration with Robert Procop. The vivid colour, dramatic faceting and surpassing clarity of the emerald are extraordinarily impressive. By making the gemstone the main focus of the design, its simplicity becomes timeless. This ring was worn by Angelina Jolie for the premiere of Kung Fu Panda 2 at the Cannes Film Festival in France in 2011.
