SAN FRANCISCO, CA.- Jewelry by Cartier and David Webb will stand out on the auction block in the Salon Jewelry sale, March 31, at Bonhams in San Francisco. The auction, simulcast in Los Angeles, will feature rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces sure to appeal to every taste and style.

Selections of David Webb jewelry on offer will include a pair of diamond and enamel earclips, with each designed as a square black enamel bombé dome, centering a round brilliant-cut diamond, and signed Webb (est. $5,000-7,000); a cultured button pearl ring with a round brilliant-cut diamond surround and baguette-cut diamond shoulders, within a hammered gold mount (est. $5,000-7,000); and a ruby, emerald and 18 karat gold stylized bypass ring, terminating with oval-shaped emerald and ruby cabochons (est. $1,200-1,800).

Additional rings that are sure to impress include a diamond bombé ring by Loretz & Benoit, with makers mark, circa 1955 (est. $1,500-2,500) and a diamond "double C decor" ring by Cartier, signed Cartier, and mounted in 18 karat gold (est. $1,200-1,800).

A stand-out piece in the sale will be a cultured pearl and diamond necklace, featuring three rows of 35, 38 and 41 pearls, complete with a textured twin boar head clasp that is accented by round, brilliant-cut diamonds (est. $3,000-5,000).

Also worthy of attracting serious attention will be a tiger’s eye, orange garnet and diamond bracelet with the ovals of tiger's eye accented with lines of diamonds and links, featuring orange garnets (est. $3,000-5,000) and a pair of retro diamond and 14 karat bicolor gold star earclips, circa 1945 (est. $3,000-5,000).

A collection of wonderful Art Deco diamond straight line bracelets will complement the sale, including a diamond straight line in platinum (est. $2,500-3,500) and a diamond and onyx straight-line bracelet in platinum (est. $3,000-4,000).

In addition to these offerings, more than 300 lots of jewelry examples will be offered in the Period Art & Design auction at Bonhams, March 31, with styles ranging from vintage to contemporary.
