DOHA.- Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam opened the exhibition Foam Talent 2014, in partnership with East Wing, a new platform for photography, founded in Doha. The exhibition showcases a collection of international cutting edge photographic talent to the Gulf Region, selected from Foam's annual Talent Call. An exclusive masterclass held in East Wing's gallery space in Dubai accompanied the exhibition. The masterclass provided a rare opportunity for twelve photographers to gain insight and experience from three successful professionals working in the field.

Foam's Talent Call is one of the international photographic industry's most prestigious instruments to scout and present young merging artists. The Talent Call with its accompanying presentation in Foam Magazine and touring exhibition provides a unique career building platform, helping to launch aspiring talents to an important next step in their photographic career. The Foam Talent label gives these photographers international acclaim and recognition. This year, out of the 1,473 submissions from 71 different countries that were submitted, 21 artists were selected.

The exhibition
The exhibitions of Foam Talent 2014 at East Wing in Dubai showcases a selection of the young accomplished winners, including Qatar based duo, Christto & Andrew. Their images from the series Liquid Portraits, was showcased on the cover of Foam Magazine's Talent 2014 Issue in September.
