JACKSON, WY.- An exhibition spanning more than 100 years and including some of the biggest names in art — from Mary Cassatt to Pablo Picasso to Andy Warhol — has opened for the summer at Heather James Fine Art and is on view through September.

Some of the highlights include one of the earliest and best bronze sculptures by the French artist Henri Matisse, an iconic Art Deco-style self-portrait by Tamara de Lempicka, a classic silkscreen painting by Andy Warhol, an exquisite pastel drawing by Mary Cassatt, and a Surrealist painting by Salvador Dalí.

“It’s a privilege for us to be stewards of these important works of art and present them to the community,” says gallery director Colleen FitzGerald. “This museum-quality exhibition spans a variety of media and many movements, from Impressionism to Modernism to cutting-edge contemporary.”

The exhibition also includes works by Robert Rauschenberg, Anish Kapoor, Sean Scully, Hassel Smith, Max Pellegrini, and William Wegman, as well as a selection of wire and cast bronze Lady Hare sculptures by the English artist Sophie Ryder.

Heather James Fine Art has two galleries, one in Palm Desert, California, and the other in Jackson, Wyoming.
