PUNTA DEL ESTE.- ESTE ARTE is an international contemporary art fair in Punta Del Este, Uruguay, South America’s premier luxury travel destination.

· After a successful first edition in 2015, the 2016 fair will bring together the best local galleries from Uruguay and a selection of leading galleries from around the world.

· Directed by Laura Bardier, ESTE ARTE is a fair that presents a tailored selection of leading local and international galleries, giving collectors the opportunity to experience quality on a comfortable scale.

· Set against the backdrop of the vibrant city of Punta Del Este, the quality of collectors and visitors that ESTE ARTE attract demonstrates how the fair represents an important moment in the international art world calendar when the South American art systems can meet, exchanges ideas and thrives.

Galleries for ESTE ARE 2016 – 20 galleries
Xippas (Paris, Geneva, Montevideo), Carroll/Fletcher (London), Continua (San Gimignano, Les Moulins, Beijing), Photology (Milan), Galería Las Misiones (Punta del Este), Galería SUR (Punta del Este), Galería del Paseo (Punta del Este) and Unosunove (Rome) all of which will be returning to the fair.

After a successful first edition, a number of new galleries will exhibit at ESTE ARTE including Studio Sandra Recio (Geneva), Heinzer Reszler (Lausanne), Le Point Fort (Strasbourg), Reginart Collections (Geneva, Paris) and Mul.ti.plo Espaço Arte (Rio de Janeiro). Galleries also exhibiting for the first time at ESTE ARTE 2016 include Black Gallery (Montevideo), Factoría de Arte Santa Rosa (Santiago de Chile), Fundación Pablo Atchugarry (Punta del Este), Diana Saravia (Montevideo), Luciana Massarino (Buenos Aires) and Zielinsky Contemporary Art + (Barcelona).

Laura Bardier, Director ESTE ARTE
Laura Bardier is the Director of ESTE ARTE and is based in Geneva (Switzerland). Since 2008, she has worked with the Estrellita B. Brodsky and Jonathon P. Carroll private art collections as manager and curator. In 2002 Laura Bardier collaborated with the Municipality of Naples to develop their first civic center for contemporary art, PAN | Palazzo delle Arti Napoli. Laura has also curated many shows including Richard Garet: non-Euclidean spaces at the EAC – Espacio Arte Contemporáneo, Uruguay and a group show Los Impolíticos at PAN | Palazzo delle Arti Napoli.
