AMSTERDAM.- The Chapman brothers and Gabriel Rolt announced the opening of Jake and Dinos Chapman's pop- up shop FUCKING HELL, situated in the heart of the Red light district of Amsterdam.

A drawing by Jake and Dinos Chapman tattooed on your skin by Henk Schiffmacher, in presence of Jake Chapman himself, who makes it directly on spot? The shop opened its doors at PROJECT SPACE PACIFIC PLACE, situated at the geldersekade 28, a new cultural hotspot which, beside the new Chapman's merchanidize shop, will host a gallery (Vriend van Bavink), A project/exhibition space, Weekender, a barbershop (Taco Stuiver) and Patty Morgan.

Jake and Dinos Chapman gained public attention in the Nineties, with their participation in shows like 'Brilliant!' (1994/1995) and 'Sensation' (1997), which followed the well known expositions Freeze (1988, curated by Damien Hirst) and the Young British Artists serie shows (1992, in the Saatchi Gallery). Charles Saachi bought many artworks by YBA' s artists, between them the famous Damien Hirst's shark and the tent of Tracey Emin.

Jake and Dinos Chapman became famous thank to their works 'Hell' (a reversed genocide representation of 60000 German toy-soldiers, burned and destroyed in the Saatchi's storage in 2004: '“Two years to make, two minutes to burn down”), 'Sex' , 'Great Deeds Againt the Dead', 'Death', en the work 'Insult to Injury', based on the war prints of Goya and nominated for the 2003 Turner Prize, which finally went to Grayson Perry.

Also very famous, maybe even more, has been the nine- vitrines remake of the original, destroyed 'Hell'.

The work of Jake and Dinos Chapman is characterized by a mix of black humor, grotesque perversity and cultural critique.

FUCKING HELL is selling t-shirts, skateboards, smiley boards, lighters, skeletons- decorated toilet paper, autographed books, poster and small, original works as etchings for a reasonable price. Also, there will be the possibility of getting a tattoo by Henk Schiffmacher based on Jake and Dinos chapman's custom made designs.
