LONDON.- This Bastille Day (Thursday 14 July) BADA (The British Antique Dealers’ Association) will storm the Fine Art Auction market with the launch of our very own online BADA Auctions.

In a revolutionary departure from existing online auction platforms, BADA have cut through the red tape and slashed unnecessary charges, meaning buyers and collectors will be able to bid without paying buyers premiums and dealers are spared the expense of cataloguing costs and buy-in-fees.

This ground breaking initiative by the leading, aspirational dealers’ association creates a unique platform for BADA members to market quality objects to a global audience directly. Through BADA Auctions dealers aren’t just making a sale they’re making a client.

The widely anticipated initiative has seen BADA join forces with some of the world’s leading online auction platforms to create a promotional opportunity that has generated a great deal of excitement and interest, both amongst BADA members and the wider fine art and antique collecting and buying community.

The BADA Auctions will feature a rich diversity of exceptional objects of fine art and antiques, all sourced from BADA’s industry-leading members. Buyers will benefit from the protection of consumer legislation and will also be protected by BADA’s strict Code of Conduct and BADA’s independent arbitration service in case of any dispute.

Speaking about the forthcoming auctions, BADA CEO Marco Forgione said: “BADA Auctions offers an incredible opportunity for buyers and collectors. The key benefits are:

1) Buyers and collectors are protected by consumer legislation and they have the reassurance that BADA, as the leading association, has rigorous membership vetting and a stringent Code of Conduct

2) There are no hidden fees or costs – BADA will not charge any buyers’ premium

“Our ambition is to help BADA members reach new audiences to showcase the exceptional quality, craftsmanship and diversity of their objects. BADA Auctions will give our members international promotion and enable them to build a direct relationship with new buyers and collectors throughout the world.

A comprehensive international marketing and promotion campaign for BADA Auctions will begin next month.
