LOS ANGELES, CA.- Billings Auction announces its upcoming Fall auction of modern art and design. This fifth installment of Billings' quarterly live auction series will take place at the newly expanded Bay Street showroom and headquarters in Downtown Los Angeles' arts district on Saturday, September 10, 2016, from 12 to 6 pm, preceded by a preview and reception on Friday, September 9 from 6 to 9 pm. A fantastic opportunity to refresh or begin your collection, Billings offers an impressive selection of rare, curated, and accessibly priced pieces of art and design in a relaxed and interactive environment. Upgrade your space or revive your home with singular handpicked pieces as an alternative to generic big box store offerings, and mark your calendars to ensure early access to the most coveted lots.

Billings auction is free and open to the public and will include works by Architectural Pottery, Stan Bitters, and Pierre Jeanneret for Le Corbusier, among many others. Previous auctions have included representative pieces by the likes of Vito Acconci, Wendell Castle, Charles and Ray Eames, Craig Ellwood, Paul Evans, Poul Henningsen, Peter Opsvick, and Man Ray.

With over 300 individual and varied lots with estimates ranging from high to low, Billings creates an inviting auction experience for established collectors and new enthusiasts alike. Co-founded by coowners of The Window, Lorca Cohen and Greg Wooten, Joshua Kritzer of Rewire Gallery and LA dealer Rich Carmichael, BILLINGS strives to provide Los Angeles with exceptional, and hard to find, collectorworthy pieces.
