LOS ANGELES, CA.- Collectors will have the rare opportunity to bid on an array of urban art and street-inspired collectibles in Heritage Auctions' Urban Art Auction, taking place in Los Angeles Monday, Nov. 6 at 11 a.m. PST. The auction features KAWS and BE@RBRICKS from 2000% to 100%, as well as significant works by Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Mr. Brainwash, Takashi Murakami and Keith Haring.

"Every sale has a particular focus that grows organically," Heritage Modern & Contemporary Art Director Leon Benrimon said. "Last season, we had an unbelievable selection of rare collectible sneakers. This season, our selection of toys is definitely the highlight. We are presenting the most important, diverse and collectible set of toys by various artists to ever come to auction."

Presented for the first time at auction are two 2000% BE@BRICKS designed by Lanvin and Emporio Armani for the 2016 group exhibition "Style Up BE@RBRICK at Harbour City" in Hong Kong. Each sculpture is estimated at $10,000-15,000 and come in their original boxes.

Two Banksy prints, Weston Super Mare­ and Applause (each estimated at $8,000-12,000), come from the collection of an important British street art collector. The source image for Applause, part of the Barely Legal series, depicts former U.S. President George W. Bush deplaning a military bomber. Two men in uniform wearing bright yellow vests were added, one holding a sign that says "APPLAUSE." Also from the collection are rare works by Shepard Fairey, Zevs and Stik.

Out of the 16 KAWS works in the sale, his collaboration with Hajime Sorayama is particularly eye-catching. No Future Companion from 2008 (est. $7,000-9,000) is a detailed sculpture in silver chrome that took nearly three years to complete. In contrast, the Companion (Robert Lazzarini Version) (est. $1,000-2,000) from 2010 in matte black features a deformed, melted look.

A pair of Nike Air Mags are also a top lot in the sale. Heritage Auctions previously made international headlines by setting a world record for a pair of collectible sneakers at auction by selling a different pair, in size 11, for $52,500. The present lot, in size 13, is auto-lacing, evoking memories of the classic movie starring Michael J. Fox and is expected to bring between $15,000 and $25,000.

Highlights from the auction will be on view at ComplexCon Saturday, Nov. 4 and Sunday, Nov. 5 at the Long Beach Convention Center as well as at Heritage's Beverly Hills location: 9478 West Olympic Blvd from Thursday Nov. 2 through Monday Nov. 6.
