SAN FRANCISCO, CA.- Turner Auctions + Appraisals will present Native American Jewelry and Collectibles on Sunday, September 9, 2018. Offering over 200 lots from one major collector, this diverse sale features a wide selection of Native American and Southwest jewelry, including bracelets, squash blossom and heishi necklaces, ladies’ and men’s rings, numerous watch cuffs and watch bands, concho and other belts, pins, pendants, hat bands, belt buckles, bolos, ketohs and money clips. Most are Native American, including Navajo and Zuni, with sterling or coin silver; most have turquoise, coral or other embellishments. All are Old Pawn or vintage.

Collectibles are from various tribes, among them Laguna, Pueblo, Hopi, Apache, Papago and Navajo, include pottery jars and vessels, rugs, dolls, Katsina-related carvings, headdresses, miniature baskets; cornhusk bags and other Native American items. The sale also includes a selection of moccasins. Artwork includes Navajo sand paintings, wall hangings and prints; sculpture, including Sacagawea II by Harry Jackson; and a Kwakiutl mask. A 10-piece table setting of ‘El Rancho’ pattern china by Wallace China rounds out the sale.

Turner Auctions + Appraisals begins its online auction on Sunday, September 9, at 10:30 am PDT; sale items are available for preview and bidding now. Lot 49: Navajo Turquoise Necklace. Approximate size: 11 inches. With sterling and maker's mark "PKB". Estimate: $250-350.

Lot 102: Old Pawn Navajo 18 Concho Silver and Coral Belt. Stamped: with a maker's mark. Approximate concho/disk size: 1 3/4 inches. Estimate: $400-600.

Lot 169: Plateau Cornhusk Bag. With dyed wool and husk decorations, distinct patterns on each side. Length 20", width 15 1/2". Estimate: $500-700.

Lot 156: Sacagawea Sculpture. Artist: Harry Jackson (1924-2011) Title: Sacagawea II, 1980. Sculpture: Bronze, black patina with marble plinth. Size: 18 in. Inscribed: "Harry Jackson 1980 / SA II 11. Stamp foundry on base. Estimate: $5,000-7,000.

Lot 166: Two Pair of Sioux Beaded Moccasins. One pair antique, the other mid-20th century, both showing wear from use. Length 10" and 9 1/2". Estimate: $400-600.
