NEW YORK, NY.- The Drawing Center announces the appointment of Rebecca Brickman to the post of Director of Development. Brickman will oversee all of The Drawing Centers fundraising activities and special events, and will spearhead new initiatives and partnerships nationally and internationally.

Rebecca Brickman is committed to supporting the future of dynamic arts organizations through the implementation of creative fundraising strategies. From 2015 to 2019, Brickman served as Manager of Institutional Giving at MoMA PS1. In this role, she spearheaded the development of new corporate partnerships and managed the museums relationships with foundations, securing significant multi-year support for MoMA PS1s renowned program of exhibitions, events, and performances. Prior to her time at MoMA PS1, Brickman was an account executive at Prentice Art Communications, where she managed media relations, strategic partnerships, and special events for a number of non-profit organizations, galleries, individuals, and brands. Previously, at Alexander and Bonin, Brickman worked directly with artists, helping them realize ambitious new projects and presentations. Brickman holds a BA in Studio Art from Bard College.
