Five Most Expensive Cartier Watches

Cartier is one of the major players in the watch industry. The popular brand invests on the beauty and functionality of its watches, producing high-end luxury watches in the process. Cartier watches are renowned for being accurate, flashy, unique and durable. For avid watch lovers or just fashion enthusiasts, owning a Cartier is a dream come true even if it’s a replica watch. The brand has over the years produced coveted timepieces that are admired globally. Given the quality of material used and the advanced technology invested in the production of the watches, the Cartier line of watches are quite expensive. A few of the Cartier watches have however taken extravagance to a whole new level. Below are some of the most expensive Cartier watches.

Cartier Secret Phoenix Décor Watch

As the name suggests, the watch is tucked away in a phoenix. Made of 18-carat white gold, the stylish watch is rhodium plated and features various other gorgeous features. The eyes of the phoenix is made of pure emerald while the rest of it is covered in 3010 brilliant cut diamonds. It also features a 3.53 carat portrait cut and pear shaped diamond. The timepiece is decorated with approximately 80.13-carat diamonds. While it cannot be worn on the wrists, it is a fancy watch and is the most expensive from Cartier. The watch is worth $2.76 million.

Cartier Extra Large Ballon Bleu Tourbillon Diamond Watch

Built for fashion and durability, the Ballon Bleu Tourbillon comes with a 46mm diameter case. It is 13mm thick and has an advanced movement mechanism. The bracelet of the watch is set with Baguette diamonds and looks really glamorous on the wrist. The transparent case back coupled with the slate gray dial and sun satin finished grid add to the beauty of the timepiece. Its sword shaped hands and Roman numerals are well spread on the dial for both beauty and easy reading. At the 6 o’clock region, the tourbillon can be spotted. It is manually wound and has a power reserve of up to 50 hours. It is $1.07 million.

Cartier Extra Large Tortue High Complication Platinum Watch

This is a rare timepiece as it was limited edition with only 15 pieces produced. The platinum case of the watch has a thickness of 10.7mm, a size that makes it easy for it to slide underneath a sleeve. Other features that further enhance its beauty are the fine-quality black alligator straps and the transparent back case. The silver guilloche dial is donned with Roman numbers and features blue hands that are apple-shaped. The watch also features a calendar and power reserve indicator. The manually winded and water-proof watch is valued at $500,000.

Cartier Rotonde Tourbillon Chronograph Watch

The limited edition watch comes with a case that measures 15.7mm thickness and 45mm diameter. The transparent case back and black alligator straps are exciting features of the watch. The straps culminate into a deployant buckle that is double adjustable for easy wearing. The gray dial has blue-colored sword shaped hands and prominent Roman numerals. The watch is worth $240,000.

Cartier Extra Large 47mm Ballon Bleu Chronograph Diamond Watch

The extra-large watch is 47mm in diameter and 15mm thick. Made of 18k white gold, the watch has a diamond set bezel and transparent case back. The diamond encrusted bracelet is made of white gold. The watch features blue sword shaped hands on a rhodium opaline dial. It is valued at $233,000.
