LOS ANGELES, CA.- Felix LA announced the exhibitor list for its second edition, which will take place within the private suites and bungalows of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel from February 13-16, 2020. The 2020 edition of the fair will feature a new, redesigned format throughout the hotels guest rooms for optimal access and client experience, while keeping the scale intimate and personal.
Felix LA 2020 will showcase a diverse selection of 60 local, national, and international exhibitors, including galleries from China, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Poland, and the United Kingdom. The second edition of the fair welcomes back a majority of the original exhibitors from the first edition, including Jack Hanley (New York), Jessica Silverman Gallery (San Francisco), Tanya Leighton (Berlin) and Bortolami (New York). The fair will expand its reach this year, drawing over 25 new exhibitors from around the globe, including Alison Jacques (London), P·P·O·W Gallery (New York), and Wentrup (Berlin).
We are thrilled to expand Felixs community and welcome an incredible slate of new and returning exhibitors for the second edition, said Felix LA co-founders Dean Valentine, Al Morán and Mills Morán. The growth and diversification of our roster attests to the burgeoning Los Angeles art scene and the desperate need for the new type of art fair experience that Felix offered collectors and exhibitors alike. We look forward to welcoming old friends and new friends to Felix LA 2020.
Felix LA was co-founded by Dean Valentine and brothers Al Morán and Mills Morán. The fairs mission is to create an intimate experience that prioritizes connoisseurship, collaboration, and community. A return to the hotel fair format, in the spirit of the storied Gramercy International Los Angeles at the Chateau Marmont, Felix LA grants galleries an efficient exhibition opportunity while offering the citys collector-base intimate access and maximum flexibility. The informal setting allows for more extended conversations among collectors, dealers, and artists alike.
In 2019, the inaugural edition of the fair welcomed a diverse creative audience, bringing in over 12,000 guests to experience galleries from Europe, North America, China, South Africa and Australia.
