Fantastic Prank Apps in 2020

Although making a prank call is definitely a fun way to pass the time, most people can't seem to get it right. Either they fumble over their words or crack up with laughter when they attempt a prank call.

With the introduction of prank apps, pulling off fun pranks and prank calls has never been more fun and straight-forward. Below are our top 4 favourite prank apps of 2020, take a look!

Ownage Pranks

Offering over 100 prerecorded calls created by the geniuses who made the OwnagePranks youtube channel, this prank caller app gives you the perfect excuse to hilariously prank call their buddies daily.

Each prerecording presents a unique prank script voiced by professional voice actors, including Russell Johnson himself who plays most of the show's characters. Prank Scripts include a disgruntled uber driver arriving too early or a pharmacist informing you that your three month supply of genital warts cream is ready.

Once you make the call, the automated prerecording will play, fooling your friends into thinking a real person is speaking over the phone!

Since browsing through dozens of prank scripts to find the one best suited for your target can be time-consuming, save time by visiting their website to check their relevant prank categories. For example, groups such as 'Love & Relationships' would provide prank calls ideal for your boyfriend or girlfriend.

Features

● Prerecordings are automated to play once a call begins
● Calls are recorded so you can listen again afterwards
● Receive one free call daily, so the fun never stops

Virus Maker Prank

Virus Maker Prank exemplifies why I love prank apps. New and completely unsuspecting this app simulates a phone virus which will appear on someone's phone!

Great for jumpscares or to get someone's palms sweaty once the virus commences it will not detect any application that is currently being used on the phone, making it appear more authentic and sudden.

All you'll need to do is borrow a friend's phone and sneakily install the app. Once launched, you will have access to several virus types which all present something unique- The Dead Pixels virus will gradually remove pixels off the screen, where the speed can be adjusted beforehand.

Other Virus examples:

Terminal- A simulated terminal will appear on the phone trying to break into the system, similar to a hacker trying to infiltrate a computer.

Blue Screen of Death- An error screen will be displayed on the phone, much like the notorious blue screen of death.

PRV-Remover- A skull image will appear with a progress bar, giving the impression that all photos and contacts are being removed.

Broken Screen Prank

Another cool and out of the ordinary prank is the Broken Screen Prank app, like a virus simulator the joke is played best when you have access to a friends phone to install prior.

This app enables users to apply various cracks and scratches onto the person's screen only by touching it, making it look like the phone has been shattered. Cracked sound effects are also played to enhance realism.

To play the prank perfectly, apply the said cracks onto your friend's screen before returning the phone. Proceed to give a lacklustre apology that you accidentally dropped their phone, and there should be no hard feelings. No doubt this will irritate someone and make for a great prank!

Features

● Plays realistic crack wallpaper and breaking glass sound
● Cracks can be caused by a touch or shaking the phone
● Also includes other forms of screen damage such as fire and electric

Fake Call - Prank Friend

A fully-functional fake call app is something every person should have on their phone because you never know when it may come in handy. Fake Call - Prank Friend enables users to organize a fake incoming call, which can have a variety of uses.

If you want to prank others into believing that you need to leave, i.e. a boring work meeting or an awkward date, instantly make a call to yourself, answer and then pretend you have an emergency. Since incoming calls are inconspicuous, most reasons you give will be accepted as proof beyond a reasonable doubt.

The app also has a high degree of customizable features, such as assigning each fake contact with a profile. In a few minutes, you can have multiple fake callers with a name, phone number and image that you made up. Celebrities are also available, such as President Donald Trump and Bill Gates.

Features

● A call log displays all previous incoming calls
● Schedule multiple fake calls throughout the day
● Select fake caller from your regular contacts
