Top Two Recipes For Delicious Super Easy Cakes To Bake At Home: Perfect For Any Occasion

Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, family gathering or just because you want to tell someone how much you love them, homemade cake is the perfect treat to bring smiles to everyone. You don't require any special skill or experience to create a tasty and impressive looking dessert. Best of all, anyone can do it by following two quick and simple recipes for super easy cakes.

Whole Wheat Cake

There are times when you need to go beyond the ordinary and do something extra special for your loved ones. If you are looking for a birthday cake that is not your ordinary chocolate or vanilla, you should consider baking a whole wheat cake for them.

The whole wheat cake is truly unique and delicious. This type of cake contains whole grains, which are rich in fibre and nutrients. They also contain less sugar than most cakes.

Ingredients:

1 cup whole wheat flour (atta)

1 cup all-purpose flour (maida)

1 teaspoon baking powder

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter) or butter (optional)

2 eggs

Sugar

Milk

Steps:

Sift the flours together into a mixing bowl using a sifter or colander. This will remove large pieces from your flour and help you mix them evenly.

Add 1/2 cup white sugar and 2 teaspoons baking powder to the mixture.

Measure out 3/4 cup milk, 1/4 cup oil and 2 eggs into another bowl or measuring cup and whisk until well combined.

Combine the wet ingredients and dry ingredients, mixing just until they are blended. You don't want to overmix, or your cake will be tough!

Pour the batter into two greased 8-inch round cake pans and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top.

Insert a toothpick into the centre of the cake; if it comes out clean, the cake is made. Allow cooling completely before frosting.

Cut the skin around the edge of the cake with a knife and lift it off.

Let it cool and serve.

Chocolate Cake

Chocolate cake lovers will find this recipe a treat. This recipe is incredibly easy to make and yields an incredibly moist and delicious cake. The best part about this recipe is that it tastes great, either with or without frosting! This means that if you're looking for a quick treat or if you don't have any frosting on hand, this recipe will always come through for you!

The rich taste of chocolate will delight your taste buds while providing a healthy dose of antioxidants and other nutrients that are essential to good health. Chocolate helps lower blood pressure and increase circulation while also helping reduce inflammation. It also contains magnesium which helps prevent migraines caused by stress or lack of sleep.

Ingredients:

Four beaten eggs

One teaspoon of baking powder

250 grams of powdered sugar

Two tablespoons of cocoa powder

Salt & sugar

Flour

One cup of butter is all combined together to create a delicate, rich cake.

Steps:

For a cake mix:

Place flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl and whisk until well combined.

In another bowl, beat together sugar and oil until it becomes fluffy.

Add eggs one by one and keep beating until the mixture turns pale yellow.

Add vanilla essence and milk to this mixture.

Now slowly add this mixture into the flour mixture. Mix everything well with a spatula or spoon till the batter is smooth enough to be poured into the cake moulds.

Grease and line a 7-inch round cake tin with baking paper, then sieve together flour, cocoa powder and baking powder.

Pour the batter over each individual mould and then bake them in an oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes till they become golden brown in colour from the top.

To test if a cake is properly baked, insert a toothpick into the centre. If the cake comes out clean, then it is ready to be removed from the oven. Allow the cake to cool completely on a wire rack before icing it. Cover with your favourite toppings, and enjoy.
