To celebrate the British Council's 90th anniversary, our Post-War and Contemporary Art Day and Online sales will feature works in support of the British Council** Collection's new home at the National Collections Centre in Coventry. The sale will include both existing and newly created work donated by nine renowned artists, including Tracey Emin, Bridget Riley, Julian Opie and Ian Davenport, among others.

Now in its fifth year, Christie’s ongoing partnership with 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair highlights the strong and evolving relationship between the global auction house and the fair. This collaboration underscores Christie’s dedication to bringing contemporary African art to a worldwide audience, while expanding the fair’s international reach and visibility.

Christie’s is also supporting the exhibition Van Gogh: Poets and Lovers, currently on view at the National Gallery in London until 19 January 2025.

An exhibition of the 20th/21st Century Art sales will be open to the public at Christie's King Street in London from 3 to 9 October 2024.
