By:Minzhou Wang

The 6th UWEE Louvre International Art Exhibition at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris brings together global talent to celebrate the Olympic spirit and sustainability. Curated by Gilbert Van Kerckhove, a cross-cultural expert with over 30 years in East-West exchanges and significant contributions to the 2008 Beijing Olympics, this high-caliber exhibition features themes of "Paris Olympics," "Saving Lives," and "Technology Shapes the Future."

Among the showcased projects is CitiFix, an innovative solution by designers Peijin Du and Minzhou Wang, inspired by real-world infrastructure challenges in Chicago and North Carolina. CitiFix empowers citizens to report issues like streetlight outages and road damage with ease, fostering safer, more sustainable urban environments through responsive public services. Presenting CitiFix at the Louvre underlines its potential impact on urban living and its alignment with the exhibition's focus on sustainable development.

Peijin Du, a product designer at Esri, integrates emerging technology with human-centered principles to enhance digital interactions, creating inclusive solutions that connect diverse audiences with technology. Minzhou Wang, the first UX/UI designer at Husqvarna Professional Products North America, specializes in HMI and user research. With an MFA from SCAD, she explores how technology enhances user interactions, bringing intuitive, impactful solutions to life.

The One World • One Future exhibition at the Louvre presents a prestigious collection of artworks and design projects, featuring acclaimed artists and designers from around the globe. This high-profile exhibition includes celebrated talents such as He Shuijing, whose work "Fragrance of Rice", captures humanity’s deep connection with nature. He Shuijing has exhibited in major shows, including Beijing’s Awakening Contemporary Art and Shenzhen’s City Era Art. Illustrator Karen Ge’s "Bloom with Grace" which won the IDA International Design Competition Bronze Award, was previously displayed at the Grand Palais in Paris and Saatchi Gallery in London. Concept artist Yuwei Rita Li contributes "Future City," a visionary piece that blends futuristic and architecture, awarded both the A' Design and Vega Digital Awards. Zhaochen Vincent Wu’s "Under an Unusual Sun" presents a powerful message on environmental challenges, inspiring viewers to consider a more sustainable future.

One World • One Future offers a unique fusion of art and technology, inviting viewers to consider art's role in sustainable progress. Through projects like CitiFix and other distinguished works, this exhibition highlights the transformative power of creativity in building a more inclusive, resilient world.
