LONDON, ENGLAND.-Now in its 4th year INSPIRED ART FAIR (IAF) is at the forefront of exhibiting the best in contemporary art from emerging independent artists. IAF 06 8 – 12th November, returns to a more intimate setting this year for the display of selected works by some 34 independent artists at the stunning Christ Church, in the regenerated area of Spitalfields, East London. This Hawksmoor church received a RIBA award for the extensive restoration work it has undergone, and is a magnificent example of Baroque architecture. Dubbed the St Paul’s Cathedral of East London, its well worth a visit in its own right but a fabulous venue to set off works by a gifted group of photographers, painters, drawers, sculptors and mixed media artists.

IAF support committee member Tara Cranswick, CEO of V22 Contemporary Art Collection says “The Inspired Art Fair represents everything that is great about being involved in art in London. Dissatisfied with traditional ways of interacting with the art world and the market, more and more artists are taking matters into their own hands and creating their own ways of interacting with new audiences.

“This is not a new phenomenon, and has been feted since Damien Hirst's Freeze, but the momentum, audience and respect for this type of event is growing, and making London one of the most exciting places to be in the art world.

This year IAF are also proud to announce Whitechapel Art Gallery as their chosen charity for 2006.Click here to preview our 2006 artists work.
