NEW YORK, NY.- Christie's announces the results for Design, Tiffany and 1925 | A Modern Vision, in total the sales achieved $27 Million, and were 125% sold by low estimate.

The series of live auctions began with 1925 | A Modern Vision a celebration of the 100th anniversary of Exposition internationale des arts décoratifs et industriels modernes in Paris, 1925, which achieved a total of $7,557,135. Leading the sale were a series of works by Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann including a Personal Desk, 1929, and Armchair, circa 1930-1933 which sold for $1,016,000, 'Grande Cannelée à Redents' Commode from Edlis | Neeson Collection which sold for $482,600. Other highlights were the Jean Dunand Important 'Psyché à la Baigneuse' Dressing Mirror, 1927 sold for 952,500, and Ivan Da Silva Bruhns Unique and Important Carpet from the Palace of the Maharaja of Indore, Manik Bagh, circa 1930 which achieved $571,500, more than double its low estimate.

The sale was rounded by Jean Dunand Pair of Folding Games Tables for Templeton Crocker, San Francisco, circa 1927-1928, from Property from the Distinguished Collection of Ms. Eva Chow which sold for $203,200.

The Design sale was led by Claude Lalanne, whose Unique 'Structure végétale aux papillons et oiseaux' Chandelier, 2007, realized $2,149,000. Another standout from Claude Lalanne was a 'Ginkgo' Dining Table, 2018, which sold for $889,000. From François‑Xavier Lalanne, an 'Agneau', from the 'Nouveaux Moutons' Series, 2008, achieved $698,500, nearly three times its low estimate. His 'Wapiti,' Maquette for the Proposed Central Park Zoo Garden, New York, circa 1982, sold for $457,200, almost eight times its low estimate. Both works were offered from Les Lalanne from the Collection of Bannon and Barnabas McHenry.

A pair of rare Diego Giacometti chandeliers for Louis Broder, Paris, circa 1965, realized $1,778,000, more than doubling their high estimate of $800,000. While a Carlo Mollino Important Low Table, circa 1949-1950 from the Edlis | Neeson Collection sold for $596,900 more than doubling its high estimate.

From the Collection of Robert F. and Patricia G. Ross Weis, the magnificent pottery group by Lucie Rie and Hans Coper performed exceptionally well. The top lot was a Hans Coper Large 'Spade' Form, circa 1966, which sold for $330,200, nearly three times its high estimate. Another highlight was a Lucie Rie Footed Bowl, circa 1984, which achieved $146,050.

Rounding out the series of sales with Tiffany Studios category – the sale was led by 'Birches and Irises' Landscape Window, circa 1915 from The Albert Zuckerman Collection which sold for $571,500. Important and Rare 'Daffodil' Chandelier, circa 1900, achieved $482,600, also from The Albert Zuckerman Collection. Another highlight from the auction was a 'Poppy' Table Lamp, on rare 'Bird Skeleton' Base, circa 1910 which sold for $254,000.
