BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA.- Buenos Aires Photo 07, Latin Americas only international photo based art fair, will run its third edition at the historic French Style, Palais de Glace, situated in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires, from November 7-11, 2007. With a focus on quality and innovation Buenos Aires Photo has become the annual spot to discover and experience classic photography with the latest trends in contemporary photo-based art.

Two to Tango - Buenos Aires Photo 07 is a unique event where both the best in classic and contemporary photo based art meet to create a visually comprehensive and intellectually stimulating experience. Buenos Aires, with its mixture of cool and culture is the ideal platform to present a niche fair where intimate dialogue with collectors, art professionals and art aficionados takes place.
Participating Artists - Buenos Aires Photo 07 will showcase an array of artists whose significant body of works were developed from the late nineteenth century until today. On exhibit there will be works by Benito Panunzi, Esteban Gonnet, Christiano Junior, Samuel y Arthur Boote, Samuel Rimathé, Francisco Ayerza, Enrique Moody from the nineteenth century, Alicia Sanguineti, Annemarie Henrich, Greta Stern, Horacio Coppola from the 30s, 40s and 50s and Nicola Costantino, Flavia Da Rin, Alejandro Kuropatwa, Marcos López, RES, Leopoldo Estol, Alessandra Sanguinetti, Esteban Pastorino, Dino Bruzzone, Carlos Garaicoa, Graciela Sacco, Magnus Sigurdarson and Nitin Vadukul working today.
Premio de Fotografia Petrobas-Buenos Aires Photo - This highly anticipated prize was first established in 2006 to encourage and promote artistic experimentation in the field of Photography. Buenos Aires Photo 07 will once again offer fairgoers the unique opportunity to discover, at first-glance, the works of the twelve finalists selected by a prestigious jury: Alicia de Arteaga, Cultural Editor of the newspaper La Nacion, Victoria Verlichak, free-lance art critic and journalist, Elda Harrington, President of Festival de la Luz and of the Argentinean School of Photography, Rodrigo Alonso, independent curator, and Julio Sánchez, independent curator and art critic.
In Focus Brazil - A new addition to Buenos Aires Photo 07, In Focus brings to light noteworthy photo-based collections from around the world. Inaugurated in Brazil, the Institute Moreira Salles, was founded in 1990 as a non-for profit institution with the aim of promoting the development of cultural programs in Brazil, displays a glimpse of its 500,000 photographs collection. In Focus- Brazil will present three distinct visions of this fascinating country: Historical Brazil, Cities of Brazil, Contemporary Brazil offering the audience a unique opportunity of discovering Brazil through the eyes of its people.
In Discussion - Known for its academic arena, Buenos Aires Photo 07 will once again present In Discussion, a series of lectures focused on photo-based art presenting informative and stimulating topics guaranteed to broaden perspectives and promote dialogue. Included topics will be: Photography in Brazil organized by Instituto Moreira Salles, Photography Festivals Around the World and The Publisher and The Artists Book.
