The Beatles are the most famous group to ever grace the British music scene.

LIVERPOOL.- Artist Anthony Brown is to exhibit a collection of Beatles inspired canvas portraits at The Gallery, Hard Days Night Hotel through 28th August 2009. In a unique celebration of The Beatles, one of the greatest cultural icons of the modern age, the work will be exhibited yards from where their meteoric rise to fame began.

Brown over 40 years has collected newspapers, photographs, memorabilia, reproductions, certificates, song lyrics and magazines to create a montage which is at the foundation for his new oil paintings. The mixed media works compromises every aspect of the life and work of The Beatles.

The Gallery at the Hard Days Night Hotel will sell the complete range of Anthony Brown merchandise, including limited edition prints, canvas prints and collector’s fine bone china.

“The Beatles are the most famous group to ever grace the British music scene and we are dedicated at Hard Days Night Hotel to honour them whenever we can,” commented Jonathan Davies, director, Hard Days Night Hotel. “At The Gallery we want to display the best Beatles artwork and in Anthony Brown’s collection of canvas portraits we have done that.”

Anthony Brown was born in Liverpool in 1961 and is an artist, designer, illustrator, musician and composer. His work moves between contemporary portraiture and abstract art in any medium, from graphic design, photography and illustration. His unique ‘doodle’ style of painting is in great demand and is widely visible across the country with examples hanging on the wall of many of the North West ’s finest locations. His work is on display from Liverpool to New York , with much of his work commissioned and held within private collections.
