First Saturday Eco-Art Walk Featuring: Eco-Logical Art Glass

CONWAY, SC To increase the awareness of conservation and recycling Pop’s is hosting Eco-Logical Art Glass, a show featuring blown glass art made from recycled glass. “I believe most artists; regardless of their medium have a strong connection with nature and a love for mother earth. Pop’s Glass is located just steps from the ancient Waccamaw River. Daily, it speaks to us and reminds us of its beauty and fragility.” The exhibit will also feature Eco-Art paintings, furniture, jewelry and purses made from recycled materials by local artists. Ed and Barbara Streeter will donate 10% of the sales of their new series Eco-Logical Art Glass to Waccamaw Riverkeeper. Please come out, and support efforts to raise awareness of recycling and conservation. Glass blowing demonstrations will feature the glass blowing process used in making the Eco-Logical Art Glass Series. Demos are 11 am – 4pm on Saturday and open to all ages and free. Pop’s Glass is open Thursday through Saturday 10am – 5pm and later for classes and special events. For more information contact Barbara Streeter at 843.450.9232, email popsglass@aol.com or visit www.popsglass.com

Pop’s Glass Studio and Gallery strives to raise the awareness of and exposure to the visual arts and glass blowing in Conway, Horry County and South Carolina.
