Museum Adventures in Art continues April 18 & 25 |

TAOS, NM.- The Harwood Museum of Art, as part of the Museum Adventures in Art Program presents a special 2-part workshop on Saturday April 18th and 25th from 10-noon. This free program is funded by New Mexico Arts and is designed for all ages, with parent participation encouraged.
The theme of April’s program is installation art --- but with a twist - using all recycled and discarded materials, gleaned from such places as the Taos Free Box. Artist/instructors Siena Sanderson and Anne Costanza will help children create a recycled room transforming the Harwood’s new children’s art gallery space, located outside the Fern Hogue Mitchell Education Center, into a three dimensional art experience.
Children of all ages and their parents, and even a brave adult or two - who is willing to lend a hand - are invited to attend this free program to create an installation living room, complete with sofa, chairs, tables, chandelier and more. This program is part of the year-long Museum Adventures in Art Program which uses local artists as instructors, funded by New Mexico Arts, a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment of the Arts. This program will be held on April 18 & 25 from 10-noon. For more information please call Lucy 758-9826 x 105.
