LONDON.- The Little Black Gallery presents Marco Glaviano: Supermodels from 14 February - 24 March 2012. This is Glaviano’s first UK exhibition.

Marco Glaviano (b 1942) is one of the most famous names in the fashion industry sought after by all the supermodels from Cindy Crawford to Eva Herzigova. He has photographed more than 500 magazine covers for American Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Elle and other leading titles. He has shot campaigns for L’Oreal, Valentino, Revlon, Roberto Cavalli, Giorgio Armani, and Calvin Klein. He has published ten books, and had nine solo exhibitions in New York, San Francisco, Milan, Palermo, and Capri.

He has been the leading pioneer of digital photography becoming the first to publish the first ever digital photograph in American Vogue in 1982. His photographs are highly collectable and hung in some of the world’s leading museums and private collections. He also designed and founded Pier 59 in New York, still recognised as the most important and well-known photo studio in the world.

Tamara Beckwith and Ghislain Pascal are proud to announce the launch of their second photography space: The Little Black Gallery @ The Imperial Arms, which opens 17 April 2012.

Tamara and Ghislain have become partners in The Imperial Arms (577 Kings Road, London SW6 2EH) with current owners Iain and Amelia Heggie.

The Imperial Arms is a traditional London Victorian pub which will showcase the best in contemporary photography, and the best London street food.

The Little Black Gallery @ The Imperial Arms includes the Bob Carlos Clarke Bar, with wall to wall photographs by the legendary photographer. The launch exhibition: 'Best of The Little Black Gallery' includes photographs by Terry O'Neill, Gered Mankowitz, Mike Figgis, Lisa Creagh and Luke Foreman.

The Imperial Arms will also become the first official West London site for nationally acclaimed street food collective Eat St. The residency will be occupied by maverick meatballer The Bowler, providing gourmet balls every Tuesday-Thursday evening, whilst every Friday and Saturday different traders from Eat St will take over the garden.
