Bonhams appoints Lance Vigil as representative for Colorado

NEW YORK, NY.- The international auction house Bonhams has appointed Lance Vigil as its representative for Colorado.

Vigil will be based in Denver, where he was born and raised. He will be responsible for growing Bonhams business in Colorado and sourcing items for auction in the company’s USA salerooms in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles as well as its international salerooms in London and Hong Kong.

An architect by profession, Vigil has worked extensively in the Middle East and has run his own practice in Denver, with a particular emphasis on art installations in architectural settings. He has also developed his own art-consulting business.

Lance Vigil commented: “I am delighted to be joining Bonhams. I am looking forward to drawing on my passion for fine and decorative arts, and my extensive commercial experience to help expand Bonhams business in Colorado.”

Bonhams Managing Director of US Regions, Simon Cottle said, “Colorado is an important State for us, and Lance has the right combination of business acumen, local knowledge and background in the Fine Arts and Collectibles to extend Bonhams reach throughout the region.”
