| Performance Artist Attempted to Spray Blood on Jackson |

BERLIN, GERMANY.- Performance artist Istvan Kantor, 55, attempted to spray blood to Jeff Koons' Michael Jackson and Bubbles sculpture at Berlin's Hamburger Bahnhof gallery. Gallery attendants apprehended Kantor as he only sprayed blood to an empty wall. He was arrested.
The performance artist had the incident filmed and now faces trespass and property damage charges. Kantor is known as Monty Cantsin, was released on Wednesday.
The performance artist was allowed to enter the Hamburger Bahnhof gallery because his own video installation was on display there.
