NEW YORK.- A new play by Lanie Robertson titled Woman Before A Glass, (A Triptych in Four Parts) will feature stage and screen star Mercedes Ruehl as Peggy Guggenheim. This new play starts February 17 at the Promenade Theatre. The play is directed by Casey Childs. The play is set in Venice in the mid-1960’s. The play describes her art collecting with works by Picasso, Pollack, Ernst, Magritte, Man Ray, DeKooning, Dalí and Chagall. Her collection was donated to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation.
