When is ikea opening in Exeter

When is IKEA opening in Exeter? The multi-national toy and kitchenware retailer is set to open its UK stores later this year with more stores expected in the months ahead. Here are some dates for when you might see IKEA in your area:

April - The first IKEA store to open in Exeter is scheduled to open in April. The company is preparing for its European expansion, which will see it enter into additional UK marketplaces. As part of the preparation, the British rainwater harvesting factory has been established at the Exeter location to handle manufacturing responsibilities. This is just part of the extensive plans that IKEA UK is implementing in an effort to capitalize on the European markets. Do you visit IKEA Southampton or know someone who does?

May - The second IKEA UK is set to open in Exeter. A news report in the Financial Times stated that the company is planning to open six new stores in the UK in the coming year. A new headquarters building is also planned to be constructed in Oxford Street, New Court Way, and Blenheim Palace, London.

June - An IKEA UK store is to open in the popular shopping district of Newcourt Way. It's reported that the company is targeting busy street locations for its UK launches. It is also expected that the company will begin selling its new line of modular kitchen furniture in Exeter. A new headquarters building is also scheduled to go into the area.

September - A special grand opening event is to be held in Exeter in honor of IKEA UK's 60th anniversary. Many co-workers of IKEA UK are to attend the occasion, and this will be a good opportunity for them to meet the founder and other prominent figures of the company. Some speculate that this may be the prelude to a more significant new IKEA store opening in Warrington. IKEA is also holding an international conference in Singapore from this month.

October - Exeter marks IKEA UK's first ever year opening with plans of many exciting activities and attractions. There is to be a grand opening garage sale in October, IKEA will be conducting an exhibition in Devon in November, and the company is planning a big launch in March next year at Exeter's New Church Street. Other events which are rumored to be taking place include a folk festival and live music. IKEA is also said to be mulling over the possibility of bringing in Indian and Chinese kitchen suppliers as part of its growth strategy. Perhaps some of these ideas will become reality in Exeter when the company finally begins operations there.

November - A few weeks after the worldwide IKEA grand opening, the company will hold its first ever official store in Exeter. A press release states that the company will open an "international Flagship Store in Exeter". This is thought to be on the first week of April, sometime between the weeks of April and May. According to a few of the people who have been to see the new store in Exeter, it is very impressive and seems to be designed in a very modern and spacious way, filled with lots of natural light, including windows and big, airy shelves. When is the IKEA opening in Exeter?

It is hard to give an exact date of when we will see the IKEA UK opening in Exeter. The company has not confirmed any dates for opening in Exeter, or whether it will be their first ever store outside of Sweden, or their first ever in the United Kingdom. The company has also not confirmed any dates for the other planned locations around the world, which include the websites in the United States, and the stores in China. The company did however confirm that more stores are now under construction in Devon and England.
