Florence Lynch, as Sales Director, will focus on leading the gallery’s sales strategic planning to expand into emerging and new markets.

NEW YORK, NY.- MARC STRAUS welcomed directors Aniko Erdosi and Florence Lynch, both bringing a breadth of experience to the gallery.

Aniko Erdosi brings more than 20 years of expertise in successfully managing galleries, artist careers and artist estates in the international art market. At MARC STRAUS, as Senior Director, she is taking a leadership position to extend the scope of the gallery’s programming and its reach, both in the private and the institutional market. Additionally, she will focus on business management, art fairs, sales, and artist liaison.

With extensive experience both on the primary and secondary markets, Erdosi previously directed Donald Ellis Gallery, specializing in historical Native American art, and prior to that, Broadway 1602, a contemporary art gallery in New York focusing on emerging artists and post-war women artists. She has worked as an independent curator and art writer both in Europe and in the US. She holds an MA in Art History and a BA in Art Administration from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest and a Certificate in Fine Art Appraisal from New York University.

Florence Lynch, as Sales Director, will focus on leading the gallery’s sales strategic planning to expand into emerging and new markets. The gallery has participated in such art fairs as The Armory Show, Frieze New York, Expo Chicago, Zona Maco and India Art Fair. Lynch will build upon existing dynamics to continue exploring new markets and pursuing global exposure for gallery artists through strategic planning of institutional exhibitions and growth of the gallery's international art fair calendar. She will contribute to the gallery's growing roster of artists, and coordinate exhibitions and programming.

She too brings over twenty years of experience in the international art world. Florence Lynch was formerly a Director at Elizabeth Dee, New York. She founded her eponymous gallery, Florence Lynch Gallery, a contemporary art gallery of international standing previously located in New York's Chelsea gallery district for 12 years. Lynch is a lecturer at FIT in the School of Graduate Studies Art Market Department and at Teachers College Columbia University.
