BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY.- Art Market Hamptons, the East End's premier and longest-running art fair returns from August 11th to 14th - this time moving to the sprawling grounds of one of the most unique art spaces out east, Nova's Ark Project and Sculpture Park, which was created in part to serve as a base for large scale events for the community. Art Market Hamptons’ 12th edition will feature 90 top galleries presenting the best in modern and contemporary art and design in an expanded, museum-quality pavilion set in the 94 acre preserve located close to town, which is home to the towering, abstract sculptures created by the park’s founder and namesake, artist Nova Mihai Popa.

This year’s event will feature a strong list of local stalwart galleries that have defined the region for the last few decades. Alongside local exhibitors, the event will also feature an impressive presence from national and international modern and contemporary dealers to introduce Art Market Hamptons’ audience of enthusiastic collectors to new galleries and artists. Visitors will also be treated to a wide assortment of innovative installations, including Worth & Weight, a large-scale, archaeological-minded piece by Morgan Hobbs that depicts a site of ruins made almost entirely from recycled materials, presented by VSOP Projects; Norman Mooney’s exploration into elemental and cyclical synergies of nature with his bold sculpture Bloom, presented by C Fine Art; Mary Mattingly’s abstract, graffiti-inspired metal work, On a roll, presented by Alessandro Berni Gallery; and Sans Titre Ref (334) by Nicolas Dubreuille, a sculpture showcasing the joined forces of color and geometry presented by Galerie Duret; as well as two installations presented by amArtHouse: Richard Pitt’s bright red, coated aluminum sculpture, Barking at the Moon, and Ed Smith’s Victory Striding, constructed out of patinated bronze.

Highlights from this year’s exhibitors include: Adamar Fine Arts, Benrimon Editions, Chase Contemporary, M. Fine Arts Galerie, MM Fine Art, Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery, SEIZAN Gallery, Sugarlift, West Chelsea Contemporary, Monika Olko Gallery, Kasper Contemporary, Juko Gallery, Arte Collective, The White Room Contemporary, and Michele Mariaud Gallery, with more to be announced soon.

For this 12th edition, Art Market Hamptons will partner with numerous institutions from around New York including Africa NXT, American Folk Art Museum, ArtTable, Association of Women Art Dealers, Brooklyn Museum, Bronx Museum, Children's Museum of the East End, Japan Society, Neue Galerie, POWarts, The Jewish Museum, and many more.
