In order to qualify for a TN visa in 2023, you must have one of the following qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree or higher, or
• A professional degree or higher, or
• A license to practice a profession, or
• A degree from a foreign equivalent of a U.S. college or university, or
• At least two years of work experience in an occupation that requires at least two years of training or experience.

You must also have a job offer from a U.S. employer. The job must be in one of the occupations listed on the NAFTA Professional List, and you must have the qualifications listed above.

The TN visa is valid for three years, and can be renewed for three years at a time. There is no limit on the number of times you can renew your TN visa.

Applying for a TN Visa
To apply for a TN visa, you must first have a job offer from a U.S. employer. The job must be in one of the occupations listed on the NAFTA Professional List, and you must have the qualifications listed above.

Once you have a job offer, you can apply for a TN visa at a U.S. consulate or embassy. You will need to submit the following documents:

• A completed visa application form
• Your passport
• A job offer letter from your U.S. employer
• Proof of your qualifications (e.g. transcripts, diplomas, licenses, etc.)
• A letter from your employer detailing your job duties
• Proof of your employer's business
• Payment of the visa application fee

Once your application is approved, you will be issued a TN visa, which will allow you to enter the United States to work for your U.S. employer.

TN visa holders are allowed to bring their spouses and children (under the age of 21) to the United States on derivative TN visas. Spouses and children are not allowed to work in the United States, but they can study.

Should You Go with TN Visa if You Are From Mexico
If you are from Mexico, you may be wondering if you should apply for a TN visa or another type of visa. The answer depends on your qualifications and your plans for working in the United States. If you have a bachelor's degree or higher, or a professional degree, you may be eligible for an H-1B visa. The H-1B visa allows you to work in the United States for up to six years.

If you do not have a bachelor's degree or higher, you may still be eligible for an H-2B visa. The H-2B visa allows you to work in the United States for up to one year. If you are unsure if you qualify for a TN visa or another type of visa, you should consult with an immigration lawyer.

Things to consider when applying for TN Visa
When applying for a TN visa, you should consider the following:
• Your qualifications
• The job offer from your U.S. employer
• The requirements for the TN visa
• Your plans for working in the United States
